WELL MAINTAINED & IMPRESSIVE AUTOMOBILE

Diesel Engine sounds & drives very well, starts on very 1st try & its ready to GO!

Durable 4-cylinder, motor is efficient and strong.

The transmission and clutch are working smoothly. This is a manual/stick.

Cold starts are instantaneous after glow plug warms. Block heater installed. Started every morning in Minnesota winters when plugged in the night before!

There are no ticks, engine smoke, knocks, or rattles in the engine - Absolutely no unusual engine noise

There are No engine warning or any failure lights, They are all working perfectly!

Quartz crystal clock works as it should, wipers, horn and on board electronics work as they should -

this is a REAL VINTAGE CLASSIC, ALL ORIGINAL.

Power antenna still works flawlessly

Seats adjust smooth and properly. Dash compartment opens/closes/locks properly. One key fits front doors, trunk, and glove compartment. Dome lights all work well, along with turn signals, headlights, high beams, fog lights, brake lights, parking lights, reverse lights, license plate lights, trunk compartment light, glove box light, instrument cluster lights, accessory switch lights, gear shift lights, ash tray light, etc.

Interior

Passenger & rear leather seats are in great condition, showing hardly any wear. Other than some cracks in the driver seat (see photos) , there are no other rips, tears, burns or cracks anywhere!  Interior is in excellent condition for its age. There are no diminished support, no pleats that have shifted beneath the stitching,

Radio Still works! Tape deck doesn't. 6 CD changer installed under passenger seat.

The door panels and map pockets are excellent without any cracks, scuffs or tears. The instrument cluster is bright and flawless, without faded needles or aging. All of the accessory switches, knobs, buttons etc. are in excellent condition and they are all in proper working order.

Headliner is in excellent condition, one area that has detached in rear (see photo)

Non Smoker Car, The cabin is free from any odors.

Heat works great! Rightmost passenger blower of dual climate control is dislodged from dashboard mount but works.

(This could be repaired, but we never got around to it.)

The trunk is in excellent condition with no tears, excessive wear, etc. in the carpet. 

Door panels and dash board are in excellent condition

The dashboard has Major cracks ( very noticeable, see photos). There is a dashboard cover to make it look nice!  (see photos)

Exterior

It is clear with a deep like shine, and it looks great! There are a few minor chips and scratches and paint peel, scratches on passenger side (see photos) but the overall impression is beautiful. Bumpers and chrome are in great condition.

The grill is in great condition, headlamp housings are excellent, side markers are excellent, emblems are bright, shiny and excellent.

General

This was originally a California car, therefore has much less rust than you'd expect to see from a MN auto.

Appraised at over $7200.00!

The Bad: The rear passenger side door doesn't lock even if lock is in the "locked" position. The interior handle is also detached at the top. (see photos.) There are two repaired rock chips in the windshield. Seat belt light comes on sometimes, even if seatbelt is fastened. Uses oil, just needs to be checked and topped off. Just very minor issues typical of an older car. Washer fluid dispenser does not operate properly. Air conditioning and cruise control need repair. The dash is seriously cracked, but there is a cloth dashboard cover in place.

The Good: The excellent general condition and reliability of this car make up for the "bad!"

This is a great strong car that drives like a tank.

Very Dependable Car. This car is a real eye-turner and started many coversations!

We are selling this car because we have just purchased a 2002 and don't have the space or need for this any more.
